I think the issue of pulp evaluations needs to be standardized along the ISO format. Since pulp manufacturing is going global, we need to establish standards that everyone understands. The TAPPI test methods need to be written a different style and language. I would like to read your comments

Hi Chuck! Thanks for telling me about this little "play" area that Jim has created. It will be interesting to see how it develops, and if it is an effective medium for the modern business needs of open collaboration.

Yes, thank you for telling me about this group. There are always new things to explore in the paper physics area.
Best regards Conny

I need a nickname to create an illusion of competence ...I was thinking along the lines of "self appointed curl guru"

The Library and Publishing

Committees and groups:

If you have anything you want to publish, there are two choices:

(1) You can supply your work in PDF form and we will put it in the library on this site. You can also upload PDF's to your committee site.

(2) If you choose to publish in paper form, we suggest you use www.instantpublisher.com. We have had great success with them and they are very economical. You will, of course, have to "pass the hat" for publishing funds, but that should not be too expensive for you.
